Schedule

Friday

Allan & Taylor will arrive at the venue some time around noon. We can all say g’day, have some beers and smokies around a fire, and get settled in.

Allan and Taylor will be providing the smokies for Friday evening.

Saturday

Saturday is the big one! We are planning on getting up early-ish and having brekky in our own cabins. The very informal ceremony will take place at somewhere around the cabins sometime between 10am and 11am. wear your very best THRIFTED FORMAL ATTIRE to the ceremony. Punishments for not wearing your THRIFTED FORMAL ATTIRE will be in place. If you are worried about not looking good, we are all in the same boat. The original plan was Peyto Lake, but we will probably get a big ol’ fine with the size of our group.

Everyone is welcome to join Allan & Taylor for a day of skiing at lake Louise which will of course be done in our THRIFTED FORMAL ATTIRE. We will then head back to the cabins for all the good stuff! Food, games, fire, music and refreshments!

We will be providing food for Saturday evening, along with a self serve open bar. It’s going to be Lasagne and salads so if you have any dietary concerns then please let one of us know and we will do our best to whip something up for you.

Sunday

Wake up again and sort our lives out.

A few of us are going to spend another day skiing Lac Louise and you’re welcome to join us!

Questions

Is there a kooky dress theme?

Yes, glad you asked. We will be enforcing a strict FORMAL THRIFT STORE THEME for the Saturday. With exceptions for underwear and shoes, unless you want to... yuk. Punishments will be executed for not adhering to the dress code.

Will there be food supplied?

Friday night we’ll be providing smokies. Saturday night we will have lasagne and salad for everyone. Everything else will be fend for yourself.
If you have any dietary concerns about what we are providing, we will be happy to accommodate if you give us a little notice.

Is booze supplied?

We will be supplying a bunch of beer, wine and other liquor. If you want to ensure you get the drink you want, then definitely bring it. The bar will be open and self serve.

Do I have to ski?

Yes.

Nah, you can just come and hang out, or you could have some bevos down at the bottom of the hill, while the rest of us shred.

Where should I grab my ski pass?

COSTCO! They usually have direct-to-lift ski passes available earlier in the season at discounted rates. Less time buying tickets at hill = more shred time. They sell 2x direct-to-lift full day passes for $224.

What to do in-between festivities?

Whatever makes you happy. We will be surrounded by beautiful mountains and hiking trails. Although we are all grouped up in cabins, everyone is encouraged to float between the cabins and mingle.
